  Married: Marriage Certificate MXA571976 Anne, a spinster, of full age, of the Parish of Allington, daughter of Robert Stevens, a fisherman, and Ephraim, a batchelor of the Isle of Portland, a Mariner, of full age, son of Joseph, a carpenter, were married in the Parish Church of Allington, by Rev. Henry Fox the curate. Ephrain was able to sign his name while Anne affixed her mark X. Witnesses to the marriage were Henry Angel Motyer, and Eliza Northover. Henry, like Ephrain, was able to ascribe his name while Eliza affixed her mark.
