MOTYER, Evyn [i6231]
The Publications of the Huguenot Society of London, volume VIII (1893), lists Evyn MOTYER as a 12-year-old, having been in England for 10 years as of 1 July 1544, so this could mean that he came to England around 1532, when he was about 2-years-old.
It has always been believed that the MOTYER line came to England from France, as a result of the Huguenot persecutions.

MOTYER, Gylys [i6232]... born about 1482, the earliest MOTYER in my tree
The Publications of the Huguenot Society of London, volume VIII (1893), lists Gylys MOTYER as a 62-year-old priest, having been in England for 15 years as of 1 July 1544, so this could mean that he came to England around 1529, when he was about 47-years-old.
It has always been believed that the MOTYER line came to England from France, as a result of the Huguenot persecutions.

I have no idea when or where he was born, only that he died in March 1779 in Swyre, Dorsetshire County (now Dorset County), England.

On 27 May 1742 he married Elizabeth CHIP in Buckland Ripers, Dorsetshire County (now Dorset County), England. She was born in Chickerell, Dorsetshire County (now Dorset County), England, and died in 1761.

He then married widow Israel (née WALBRIDGE) WALBRIDGE-KEECH on 16 April 1761 in Swyre, Dorsetshire County (now Dorset County), England. She was born about January 1724/25 in Swanage, Dorsetshire County (now Dorset County), England, and died September 1785 in Swyre, Dorsetshire County (now Dorset County), England.
