  	1871 Census  William Dickins and his wife Rebecca were living in Main Street, Harpole, just outside Northampton. Rebecca was 14, William Harry 12, Edward Frank 10, George Arthur 7, Alice Jane 4, Walter Benjamin 2 and Emma Maud was 7 months and the only child born in Harpole.

Edward Frank had married Emily Clara Edgeworth Cooke in 1878 and is living in Horsemarket, Northampton. William and his second wife Mary are living in Mare Fair, Northampton, with daughter Jessie, Butcher , William Harry, clerk, George Arthur, aged 16, and Alice Jane, 14.
